The Dragon's Tooth Book Trailer

From the author of the absolutely incredible (i.e. my favorite books of all time) Books of the 100 Cupboards, and that other ingenious little book called Leepike Ridge, comes what has the makings to be the best book of 2011.  And possibly quite a few other years.

Ashtown Burials I
The Dragon's Tooth
by N. D. Wilson

Here's a blurb:

"For two years, Cyrus and Antigone Smith have run a sagging roadside motel with their older brother, Daniel. Nothing ever seems to happen. Then a strange old man with bone tattoos arrives, demanding a specific room.

"Less than 24 hours later, the old man is dead. The motel has burned, and Daniel is missing. And Cyrus and Antigone are kneeling in a crowded hall, swearing an oath to an order of explorers who have long served as caretakers of the world's secrets, keepers of powerful relics from lost civilizations, and jailers to unkillable criminals who have terrorized the world for millennia."

This trailer was directed by N. D. Wilson himself and produced by Gorilla Poet Productions and Beloved Pictures (the same people who are working on a big screen adaption of 100 Cupboards).  Starring as Cyrus is Joel Courtney of Super 8 fame.

It is, I must say, one of the best book trailers I have ever seen.

So what are you waiting for?  Buy a few copies from Amazon, or The Book Depository with free worldwide shipping.  And if you haven't read the Books of the 100 Cupboards yet, buy those too.  They're pretty good.
